- Metal Cleats: The use of metal cleats is not permitted in divisions 12U and below. Players in divisions 13U and older may wear metal spikes. Please confirm with the tournament director, as some parks may have restrictions on metal cleats.
- Catchers (Protective Gear): All catchers must wear all protective gear such as a catcher's helmet with a facemask, throat guard (integrated or separate), chest protector, chin/leg guards and an thletic supporter.
- Electronic Communication Devices: With the adoption of the NCAA PitchCom Protocols, Perfect Game allows:
One-way electronic devices transmitting pre-recorded messages or signals for pitch/play calls from dugout to field (pitchers, defenders, or offensive players) are permitted, and;
In-ear communication devices with direct or live audio remain restricted to catchers.
For 12U and younger divisions: Catcher's helmets must fully cover both ears.
